Account Supervisor

The Account Supervisor serves as a strategic and operational liaison between the agency and its clients, managing day-to-day client relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work and measurable client value. This role supports senior team members in managing and expanding strategic accounts by contributing to account planning, identifying growth opportunities, and helping drive overall client success.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and collaborative client leader who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across teams and with clients, anticipate challenges, and confidently move work from strategy and planning through execution, measurement, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, serving as a proactive and dependable point of contact.
  • Build trusted client relationships through a strong understanding of their business objectives, KPIs, industry, and priorities.
  • Lead client communications, project updates, and reviews; proactively address needs and escalate critical issues as appropriate.
  • Ensure clear communication and consistent delivery across scope, timelines, budgets, and expectations.

Account Strategy & Growth

  • Support senior team members with account planning, client strategy, and identifying opportunities to optimize and grow relationships.
  • Guide internal strategy and planning discussions by surfacing client needs, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital strategies across capabilities such as Service Design, Marketing Automation, Data, and Technology.
  • Identify and contribute to upsell, cross-sell, and other opportunities to expand client relationships.

Scope, Project & Account Management

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and communicate clients’ business objectives, serving as the voice of the client when they are not in the room. Manage priorities, timelines, deliverables, resources, and project health across multiple initiatives.
  • Own client-facing deliverables including briefs, statements of work, pricing estimates, change orders, and presentation decks, and project updates.
  • Manage the end-to-end scope development process, coordinating inputs, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and ensuring readiness for client review and approval.
  • Monitor and communicate scope changes, financial updates, resourcing shifts, risks, and dependencies to internal teams and clients as appropriate.
  • Partner with PM team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and to client and agency standards.

Collaboration & Performance

  • Collaborate across creative, digital, technology, production, analytics, and other disciplines to drive effective execution and client value.
  • Provide clients with performance reporting, insights, and recommendations to support optimization and business outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior team members and foster a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 6 years of account management, client service, or related experience within an advertising, marketing, digital, or agency environment.
  • Proven success managing large-scale integrated digital programs and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong digital marketing experience, with technical knowledge of platform integrations, CMS execution, digital ecosystems, or similar technologies.
  • Advanced working knowledge of analytics and CRM platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with B2B and/or B2C marketing.
  • Strong understanding of project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and account operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and effectively manage expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues, navigate ambiguity, and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and translate client needs into actionable plans.
  • Strongly preferred experience identifying and applying AI opportunities to improve marketing programs and deliver greater value for clients.

Applicants who’d like to be considered for a full-time position must be US based.

The target range of base compensation for this role is $125,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
