Hours: Full-time
Location: This role can be fully remote within the U.S. BioLite has offices in Brooklyn, NY and Midvale, UT if you are interested in a hybrid work environment. #LI-Hybrid
Reports to: Global Controller
Compensation: A base salary range of $80,000-$95,000 gross per year, depending on candidate experience.

This Role:
BioLite is looking for an Accounting Manager who enjoys the intersection of clean books and efficient technology. You will go beyond standard journal entries to ensure our financial tech stack specifically NetSuite, Bill.com, and Tipalti are running at peak performance. You will be the "owner" of our AP ecosystem and an important player in our annual audits. We are looking for someone who is excited by the future of AI in finance and wants to help us implement tools that eliminate manual data entry and improve accuracy across our global operations.

You Will:

Financial Systems Architecture & Automation

• Be the NetSuite Power User, managing SuiteScript writing, workflow testing, and the optimization of core finance and FP&A modules.
• Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable ecosystem, specifically managing Bill.com / Tipalti integrations, resolving sync discrepancies, and maintaining real-time system mapping.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on the integration of AI tools and agentic workflows into our ERP to automate repetitive accounting tasks and monitor machine led outputs for accuracy.

Audit & Compliance Leadership

• Partner with our teams to complete full scale financial audits, serving as the central contact for external auditors.
• Ensure all processes remain compliant with GAAP while adapting best practices to the needs of a social enterprise with global logistics.

Advanced GL & Analytics

• Perform high-level financial analytics to identify trends, drive system improvements, and provide applicable insights to the Controller.
• Manage complex month-end close activities, including multi-currency reconciliations and intricate accrual logic.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee the technical accuracy of the Accounts Payable process.
  

You Have:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial systems experience in a tech, manufacturing or hardware environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science with an accounting focus. CPA or CMA is a major plus.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is non-negotiable. You must be comfortable with SuiteScript and building custom workflows.
• Deep proficiency in Bill.com or Tipalti, specifically in troubleshooting "broken" syncs and mapping complex charts of accounts.
• Proven fluency in AI tools and an understanding of how to manage "agentic" (AI-driven) workloads within a finance department.
• A systems-first thinker with the ability to explain complex technical workflows to non-technical teammates.
