ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounting & Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing core accounting operations and global treasury functions to ensure the company’s financial integrity, liquidity, and compliance. This role leads general accounting activities (GL, AR/AP, revenue, and reporting) while also managing cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk. 

The position partners closely with Finance, FP&A, and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making, optimize working capital, and maintain strong internal controls in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Accounting Operations 

  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting systems, including:  

  • General Ledger 

  • Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable 

  • Journal entries and reconciliations 

  • Revenue recognition and cash flow reporting 

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes in accordance with GAAP 

  • Design and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to meet audit standards and improve efficiency 

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports and accounting data 

  • Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and consultants 

  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for compliance and historical purposes 

Treasury & Cash Management 

  • Support global cash flow forecasting (short- and long-term), with a focus on liquidity and working capital optimization 

  • Manage daily cash positioning, banking activity, and fund transfers across domestic and international accounts 

  • Monitor global cash balances and recommend strategies for effective capital deployment through close collaboration with Finance leadership 

  • Oversee bank account administration, including signatories, controls, and platform access 

  • Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations in coordination with Accounting team 

Debt, Risk & Compliance 

  • Support monitoring of compliance with debt agreements, including covenant tracking and lender reporting 

  • Manage debt-related transactions (interest, principal, fees) 

  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control frameworks 

  • Identify and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange exposure and counterparty risk 

  • Continuously enhance processes, controls, and treasury systems/tools 

Process Improvement & Systems 

  • Evaluate and improve accounting and treasury systems, automation, and workflows 

  • Drive process efficiencies and data integration across financial platforms 

  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness 

Leadership & Collaboration 

  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting and/or treasury team members 

  • Establish performance goals and ensure alignment with company objectives 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business leaders 

  • Provide insights to leadership on liquidity, financial performance, and risk considerations 

  • Serve as a key advisor on financial operations and process improvements 

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 

  • CPA, MBA, or CTP preferred 

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or treasury 

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cash management, and financial controls 

  • Experience with global treasury operations, banking, and cash forecasting 

  • Familiarity with ERP and treasury systems (e.g., Netsuite, Kyriba, or similar) 

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

Salary Ranges: MIN $85, 440.00 to MAX $128, 160.00 USD/Annual

Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.
