They will get an introduction to the healthcare industry from the perspective of an innovative, technology-driven health insurer, as well as gain valuable experience working with Oscar's actuaries and business partners to develop both the technical and communication skills required in the actuarial profession.

You will report into the Senior Manager, Actuarial.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

  • Participate in actuarial and cross-functional meetings to build relationships and rapport with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and communicate findings to both actuarial and non-actuarial audiences.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Bonus points:

  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/SQL/Python
  • Active College Students
