About Medal

Medal is the world’s largest and fastest-growing platform for gaming clips, where millions of gamers capture, share, and relive their best moments. Every year, our players record billions of clips, each representing a unique, action-packed highlight. We’re building the next generation of gaming communities — social, monetized, and creator-powered. Our mission is to design products that make sharing, discovering, and connecting around gaming moments seamless and fun.

We raised a seed round of $133M from General Catalyst and Khosla to discover the next generation of intelligence.

The Role

We’re looking for a Growth & Revenue Operations Manager — a right-hand operator who can plug directly into Medal’s revenue engine and grow it. You’ll work side-by-side with our SVP, Revenue to help design, execute, and optimize how brands and agencies buy into the Medal ecosystem.

This isn’t an agency seat where you’re a cog in the machine — it’s a builder role for someone who wants to own outcomes. You’ll wear multiple hats: media strategist, ad ops manager, campaign optimizer, and client partner. You’ll learn fast, touch every part of the revenue stack, and help scale Medal’s monetization engine from the inside.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate Like an Owner: Partner directly with the SVP, Revenue to run Medal’s brand and media revenue operations — from planning to execution to reporting.

  • Plan & Launch Campaigns: Design and traffic campaigns across GAM, Prebid, and direct-sold inventory. Build custom media plans and bespoke brand activations.

  • Bridge Creative & Data: Collaborate with the creative and product teams to develop high-performing ad experiences, rewarded units, and branded moments.

  • Analyze & Optimize: Pull and parse performance data from multiple ad tech sources (SSPs, GAM, DSPs, internal dashboards). Spot trends, find insights, and turn them into optimizations.

  • Client Service & Communication: Work directly with agency and brand partners to ensure flawless campaign delivery and performance.

  • Experiment Relentlessly: Identify opportunities to improve the system — new ad formats, new pricing models, new ways to win attention.

You’ll Thrive Here If You
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in fast-paced gaming, tech, or startup environments.

  • Have worked in a small company (10–20 people) or in a role where you had to wear multiple hats and figure things out fast.

  • Take extreme ownership — you don’t wait for direction, you build it.

  • Understand how advertising actually works — attention, audiences, and the money that flows between them.

  • Preferred but not required: knowing your way around Google Ad Manager (GAM), Prebid, and the programmatic ecosystem.

  • Can pull, clean, and analyze performance data — and tell a story with it.

  • Have creative instincts — you can see the opportunity in a format or an idea and help bring it to life.

  • Are hungry, curious, and ambitious — this role is for someone who wants to grow into a senior operator, not sit still.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Comprehensive health insurance including dental and vision insurance

  • 401k
