The Opportunity

Since 2005, MDCalc has been an essential part of the clinician’s workflow to help achieve better patient outcomes. Actively used by more than 65% of physicians worldwide, MDCalc is the most broadly used medical reference – at the point-of-care – for clinical decision tools and content, and one of only four references used by >50% of US HCPs. These evidence-based tools and content are used by millions of medical professionals globally and support 50+ specialties and cover 200+ patient conditions.

To continue to further accelerate this growth, we are expanding the Sales & Ad Operations team with an Ad Operations Manager. This individual will drive campaign performance and deliverability for HCP-focused campaigns. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply strategic thinking and core ad operations expertise in a hands-on role, while helping to build and scale a business with unparalleled reach to HCPs.

The Role

The Ad Operations Manager is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for executing and delivering HCP advertising campaigns. This role is responsible for post-sale campaign setup, which includes QA, pacing, optimization, and delivery in alignment with MDCalc’s clinical credibility and client KPIs.

The responsibilities of this individual include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Own end-to-end campaign execution from Client Success handoff through successful delivery and completion

  • Build and launch campaigns in the ad server, including targeting, audience segmentation, QA, pacing, optimization, and troubleshooting

  • Monitor campaign performance and delivery daily, flagging risks early and implementing corrective actions to protect quality and revenue

  • Partner closely with Client Success on campaign strategy, mid-flight adjustments, and client-facing performance needs to track towards KPIs and prevent under-delivery or overspend

  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting notes, and ticketing hygiene to ensure clear operational visibility and accountability

  • Surface optimization opportunities and delivery insights to support incremental performance improvements and upsell opportunities

Your Background
  • 3+ years experience in Ad Operations, Campaign Operations, or digital campaign execution roles

  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, or other regulated advertising environments

  • Familiarity working with HCP targeting, target list matching, and audience models

  • Strong working knowledge of ad trafficking, targeting strategies, pacing, and campaign QA best practices

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving ability

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

  • Clear communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

What MDCalc offers:
  • Ability to make a true difference in medicine: MDCalc is the most broadly used medical reference used by 65% of physicians worldwide.

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage, with option to extend to your dependents

  • Company-sponsored short-term insurance

  • Fully-paid 8 week parental leave, after 6 months of employment

  • Company-sponsored 401k, after 3 months of employment

  • Unlimited vacation for salaried roles - we trust you to take the time you need

  • Tri-annual company offsites to connect, reflect, and plan together (most recently in Asheville and Mexico City)

  • Work from home monthly stipend

  • Hybrid work environment with a great team office in Greenwich Village, NYC

  • A culture of fun and motivated team members who believe in a greater mission here at MDCalc
