This is a temporary position, and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27607 - Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services.   

 
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).  
 
Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed in the class specification.  The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants. 

Management Preferences:  

  • Provide administrative support to the Telecommunications Resources Program

  • Manage the flow of equipment distribution system documents and applications

  • Answer calls from vendors and keep the vendor list updated

  • Scan documents

  • Create reports

  • Sort and distribute mail for the Telecommunications Resources team

  • Organize virtual and physical documents

  • Update the calendar for the EDS team

  • Take notes for meetings

  • Other office administration tasks as needed

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
