We are seeking an experienced Adobe Target contractor to support experimentation and personalization within a broader Adobe marketing technology ecosystem. This role will focus on hands-on configuration, execution, and optimization of web-based tests and targeted experiences, while collaborating closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to define and refine experimentation strategies.

Engagement Details
  • Able to work remotely preferably within the US overlapping with CST time zone
  • Contract Hours: 20 for 3 months
  • Client Load: 1–2 concurrent accounts
  • Role Type: Independent Contractor (IC)
  • Duration: Ongoing (multi-month) with extension potential
  • Location: Ideally US/Canada, must overlap with client hours (CST); Possible occasional travel opportunities to client locations for workshops, training, etc.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Adobe Target within a larger Adobe Experience Cloud stack, including integrations with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Launch, and Marketo
  • Design, build, test, and deploy web-based A/B/n tests and experience target activities in Adobe Target
  • Partner with internal teams to translate business goals, hypotheses, and audience strategies into measurable tests and personalized experiences
  • Support more advanced targeting and personalization use cases over time, including geographic-based targeting and rule-based personalization
  • Ensure proper data flow and measurement between Target, AEP, and CJA to support reporting and insights
  • Support training of client team members new to Target
  • Advise on best practices and process optimization for experimentation design, audience usage, and test governance
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to help define test concepts, success criteria, and next-step optimizations
Required Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience working with Adobe Target in a production environment
  • Demonstrated experience configuring Target within a broader Adobe martech ecosystem (including AEP/RTCDP and CJA)
  • Experience designing and executing web-based A/B/n tests and experience targeting activities
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Launch and how it supports Target implementations
  • Comfortable working with audiences sourced from RTCDP and activated across channels
  • Ability to interpret test results and partner with analytics teams to derive actionable insights
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale digital environments with multiple stakeholders
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with more advanced personalization strategies in Adobe Target (e.g., geographic targeting, rules-based personalization)
  • Familiarity with Marketo for audience activation and ongoing email/SMS nurture programs
  • Experience advising internal or external clients on experimentation strategy and test design
  • Understanding of how experimentation data is leveraged within Customer Journey Analytics
  • Light JavaScript or front-end troubleshooting experience related to Target implementations (nice to have)
Soft Skills 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly proactive, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous about QA, documentation, and validation
  • Comfortable working on a globally-distributed, remote team
