The Inside Sales Advisor is responsible for driving pipeline growth and revenue by engaging prospective clients, closing inbound opportunities, and delivering a high-quality advisory sales experience. This role plays a key part in converting interest into business through a consultative, relationship-driven approach. This role is an instrumental part of Founder Shield, the innovation arm of The Baldwin Group. Founder Shield is a tech-enabled, digital insurance platform built for the future.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Engage and qualify both inbound leads and self-generated opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales process to close
  • Proactively identify and vet prospective clients and decision-makers using creative outreach and lead generation strategies
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and position tailored solutions
  • Maintain consistent sales activity through organized planning, follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients to drive conversion and long-term engagement
  • Clearly communicate value, provide consultative guidance, and confidently move opportunities to close
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products, services, and market trends
  • Partner closely with Account Management to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Self-starter mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Comfortable working both inbound opportunities and outbound prospecting efforts
  • High energy, resilience, and a desire to win
  • Commercial insurance experience and active P&C license are required

OTHER:

  • Fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds, with some walking, standing, reaching, and the use of hands for the computer.
