About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Affiliate Marketing Consultant to help launch and optimize our initial affiliate program infrastructure on a short-term, project basis. This role will focus on setting up, operating, and refining the program to assess its long-term potential for the business.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused independent contractor role, ideal for someone who can move quickly, work independently, and deliver results without day-to-day oversight. The output of this role will directly inform future decisions about scaling our affiliate program.
Contract Details:
-Duration: 3–6 months
-Estimated effort: 20–35 hours per week (flexible and based on achieving project goals)
-Rate: $70–$110/hour
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the initial set up and operation of the affiliate program using Impact, including tracking configuration, validation, and partner onboarding.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard priority affiliate partners aligned with our brands and target audiences.
- Coordinate with affiliate partners by providing links, offers, creative assets, and optimization guidance.
- Monitor affiliate performance across traffic, conversions, revenue, and CPA, and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure affiliate activity aligns with promotions, seasonal campaigns, and broader priorities.
- Design and run initial testing and optimization efforts (e.g., partner mix, placements, offers).
- Deliver concise performance reports and insights to inform decisions on long-term investment in the channel.
- Document setup steps, key learnings, and recommendations to enable future internal ownership and scale.
We’re Looking For Someone With:
- Demonstrated experience launching and/or managing affiliate programs, ideally in consumer, travel, or e-commerce businesses.
- Hands-on experience with Impact or similar affiliate platforms.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to translate performance data into practical recommendations.
- Ability to work independently in a project-based, test-and-learn environment with minimal oversight.
- Clear communication skills for reporting and presenting insights.
- Availability to work on a short-term contract basis with flexible hours aligned to project goals.
