AI Deployment Engineering Intern, Platform

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated Intern with a strong engineering background and fullstack AI development experience to join our team for Spring/Summer. This role mandates staying up to date on the cutting edge of technologies and market dynamics, building and deploying AI systems, , analyzing trends, and supporting our investment decisions in the AI space. The ideal candidate is passionate about artificial intelligence, has a deep understanding of machine learning and related technologies, and is eager to apply their technical expertise in a fast-paced VC environment. They may even have a portfolio of projects that demonstrate their ability to broadly apply and understand multi-agent systems.

• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, trends, and market dynamics.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related engineering field.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), AI model architectures, and can quickly adapt and incorporate a diverse range of REST APIs.

• Experience with Python, data analysis, and AI/ML tools.

• Ability to analyze technical research papers and translate findings into actionable insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.

• Interest in venture capital, startups, and AI-driven businesses.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Prior experience in AI research, engineering, or a startup environment.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment of AI models.

• Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and generative AI applications.

• Previous involvement in hackathons, AI competitions, or open-source contributions.
