This role will be the primary owner for building and deploying our AWS environment using Terraform, while establishing reliable, secure, and scalable delivery processes.

This individual will bring strong experience in AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and operational excellence, along with the communication skills and leadership needed to work effectively across a remote team. This role will also lead the practical adoption of AI tooling, AI agents, and MCP servers — integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and day-to-day engineering workflows to measurably improve delivery speed and operational quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and automation.
  • Build and maintain reusable, secure, and scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, high-quality software delivery.
  • Support a multi-tenant SaaS platform with strong focus on reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Partner with the engineering and architecture teams to align infrastructure and deployment practices with platform goals.
  • Establish best practices for monitoring, logging, alerting, access control, and operational readiness.
  • Identify and implement AI solutions that improve DevOps workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase team velocity.
  • Design and implement AI agent workflows and MCP server integrations to automate DevOps tasks, reduce toil, and accelerate engineering delivery.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead with accountability, responsiveness, and a strong commitment to quality and on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Deep experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code best practices.
  • Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, secrets management, access control, monitoring, and deployment automation.
  • Experience supporting production systems with a focus on uptime, scalability, and operational quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and commitment to delivering quality work on time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern application environments using technologies such as C#/.NET, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
  • Experience using AI to improve engineering workflows and delivery processes.
  • Hands-on experience building or operating production AI agent pipelines, or integrating MCP servers into engineering toolchains.

Core Competencies

  • Strong technical judgment
  • Clear and professional communication
