Mannix Marketing is looking for an AI Specialist contractor to support our internal teams as we expand our use of AI across the agency. This is a practical, hands-on role, not a consulting or advisory position. You will work directly with internal teams to build, maintain, and improve AI workflows and tooling that our team actually uses day-to-day.
What You’ll Do
Building and maintaining internal AI workflows, tools, integration's, and client-specific projects
Documentation and knowledge transfer of new workflows, including training team members
Supporting teams in adopting and using AI tools effectively
Working with platforms such as Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, Zapier, N8N, Asana, Slack, and custom-built solutions
Identifying and implementing practical improvements to how we use AI internally
Staying current on relevant AI news and tools and offering them forward
Demonstrated hands-on experience with large language models and AI tools in a professional setting
Comfort with prompt engineering, API usage, and workflow automation
Experience working within a team environment, ideally in a digital marketing or web development context
Strong written communication skills -- this is a fully remote role, and async clarity matters
Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate proactively
Familiarity with Claude, Gemini, or comparable platforms; custom build experience a plus
AI philosophy - AI is a tool to assist people, not replace them; all workflows will contain a human-in-the-loop element.
