BBH is currently searching for an Alternatives Sales Manager to join our Investor Services team.  As part of the GIobal Relationship Excellence team, you will be responsible for growing BBH’s roster of alternative fund clients, with a primary but not exclusive focus on private markets.

Key responsibilities include:  

1. Business Development        
•    Reporting to the head of Alternatives sales in the US, responsible for the development of business opportunities and achievement of revenue targets for managers based in the US 
•    Building a pipeline of qualified prospects, based on strong commercial insights on trends in the industry, regulatory changes and clients’ investment and distribution strategies.
•    Identifying and building strong relationships with all key decision makers in prospects’ organizations at C-Level.
•    Evaluating existing client relationships and identifying new revenue streams through active communication and collaboration with BBH relationship managers.
•     Representation of BBH at industry events and conferences 
•    Build and maintain an influencer network to generate inbound referrals.  Close collaboration with Consultant Relations team and wider BBH sales teams ensuring all interactions are logged.

2. Planning and Strategy
•    Develop and maintain a detailed sales plan  
•    Monitor and track prospects by developing an in-depth knowledge of their 1, 3, and 5-year business strategy, organizational changes and related activities
•    Continuously update sales opportunities, client/prospect interactions and contacts within SalesForce
•     Actively track and communicate client and market intelligence back to BBH colleagues

3. Product Knowledge 
•    Develop in-depth product knowledge of BBH’s core products and services for Alternative fund managers as well as across the broader BBH Investor Services offering.

Salary Range

$160,000 - $195,000

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
