The Americas Product Marketing Intern will develop a deep understanding of the Sol de Janiero product portfolio as well as analyze key market, consumer, and competitor trends to identify areas of opportunity for the brand. This role will report into the Americas Manager Product Marketing. This internship is based in our New York City Headquarters. The program dates are June 4th to August 20th (12 weeks). The pay range for this position is $16.50/hour.

The Americas Product Marketing Intern will work on the following:

  • Analyze performance drivers across the Sol de Janeiro portfolio, identify key trends & areas of opportunity on category & product level 
  • Conduct post-launch analysis of SDJ new product launches, summarize and share key learnings across the region  
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activity, including competitor new product launches; leverage multiple data sources to uncover and craft actionable insights for the region 
  • Deep dive in market, consumer, and category trends within the region to identify growth opportunities 
  • Input to regional product development briefs to drive assortment needs for key SDJ channels   
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to input to annual sampling program, including strategic assortment offerings and timings and forecast quantities 
  • Develop regional reports/dashboards and effectively combine data sources to enable performance tracking

  • You are a student at an accredited University or College 
  • You are local to the NYC area for a 12-week internship program
  • You have interest in the business areas listed above with some relevant coursework, student clubs, and/or internship experience
  • Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

Salary Range

$16.50$16.50 USD
