Job Description

Seeking an established mid-level candidate to join the systematic trading strats pod within our FICC E-Trading & Market Structure (front office/in-business) horizontal team. This NY based role will focus supporting the Credit systematic trading ecosystem, which includes, algo trading, portfolio trading, and ETF creation/redemption activities. The strats pod is responsible for contributing to the development of systematic market-making algorithms, developing quantitative trading strategies/methods, building desk tools and analytics, as well as analyzing and promoting market structure developments and e-trading strategy. The role requires a combination of quantitative, business and technical expertise and as such requires close co-operation with our partners in trading and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating, testing, and implementing systematic trading ideas and strategies
  • Building frameworks, tools, and visualizations (e.g. workflow, risk exhaustion, P&L attribution, hedging)
  • Building reports, analytics and visualizations related to business performance
  • Enhancing/optimizing activity related to ETF primary, systematic corporate bond trading, and portfolio trading
  • Communicating and managing technology/quant related requirements and initiatives to senior management
  • Monitoring and guiding e-trading performance through the creation of analytics and reporting
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis of markets, strategy performance, AMM/HMM execution, etc.
  • Working closely with our technology and quant partners to guide product development and collaborate on projects

Required Qualifications

  • Academic background at undergraduate/masters level in finance or STEM subjects or equivalent work experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python, KDB, SQL
  • 2-5 years of financial industry experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Credit markets
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail necessary
  • Understanding of Credit electronic trading platforms/protocols and familiarity with bond/swap products is beneficial
  • Must work well in a collaborative team environment; have ability to learn quickly and be able to take on new responsibilities

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$110,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
