Primary Purpose: This role will assist all aspects of the FP&A process including monthly close activities, quarterly reforecasting, annual/long-range planning, and ad hoc analyses as needed. The Analyst will focus on the financial management for Corporate Tapestry functions with primary support of the Chief Information Officer and IT, Digital, and Analytics teams. The position will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in FP&A to:
  • Support the monthly close and quarterly forecasting processes for the Tech functions within Tapestry
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate financial results vs plan to senior management
  • Leverage financial systems and database to analyze spending trends and drive strategic investment decisions
  • Drive initiatives to streamline processes, maintain and improve existing financial models
  • Build strong relationships with key business partners and identify P&L levers, Risks & Opportunities, or cost savings opportunities

The accomplished individual will possess:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner, at all levels of the organization
  • Motivated self-starter with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects and work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Team player who works extremely well in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn

An outstanding professional will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience, prior experience in supporting IT/Digital commerce is considered a plus
  • P&L budgeting / forecasting experience, with an emphasis on building driver-based forecasts
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP and PBCS (Oracle) desirable
