Job Title: GBS Business Performance Analyst

A little bit about our team:

The Global Business Service (GBS) team aims to be a trusted service partner offering efficient, innovative support operations that will allow WMG, its artists and songwriters to focus on making great music and creating lifelong fans. We focus on excellence in execution, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement as our key values to deliver this result.

Your role:

The Business Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Business Services organization by providing insightful analysis, reporting, and decision support. This role focuses on the development, maintenance, and analysis of key performance metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), as well as contributing to the ongoing evolution of the service catalog. The Analyst will work closely with GBS and Regional Service Center leadership and provide reporting and insights to executive leadership ​

Here you’ll get to:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of Finance Shared Services.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that align with business objectives.

  • Analyze SSC performance to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks, and inform service catalog optimization.

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on performance against SLAs and KPIs.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Service Catalog, ensuring it accurately reflects the services offered.

  • Provide analytical support to Service Center Leadership, including ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

  • Develop finance business cases and recommendations for process improvements and service enhancements.

  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights.

  • Prepare and present performance reports and presentations to executive leadership, highlighting key trends and insights.

  • Proactively identify and communicate potential issues and risks.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within a shared services environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with reporting tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Power BI or Tableau.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of service catalog management principles is a plus.

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification

  • SAP S/4Hana knowledge

  • Music industry background

  • Bilingual

  • Experience working directly with or within a Shared Services organization

Salary Range

$90,000 to $100,000.00 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
