We are UMG, the Universal Music Group. We are the world’s leading music company. In everything we do, we are committed to artistry, innovation and entrepreneurship. We own and operate a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
Merchandise and ecommerce are part of the fabric of music culture. For artists, it is a way to develop and further articulate their brand. For fans, it is a pathway to connecting more deeply with the artists and the culture they represent.
Famehouse, Universal Music Group's eCommerce division, powers direct-to-consumer businesses for UMG's labels, artists, and partners - delivering creative storefronts, innovative product programs, and data-driven growth strategies.
The Insights & Strategy team sits at the center of this work. We transform data into direction, build the frameworks and tools that guide decision-making, and raise the strategic bar for D2C across UMG.
How You'll CREATE:Deliver analysis, insights, and recommendations
Transform business questions into fact-based analyses that deliver insights and actionable recommendations across merchandising, marketing, audience, and operations.
Investigate performance questions (what changed and why) through data validation, root-cause analysis, and clear synthesis of findings.
Influence strategy as a thought partner - translating insights into decisions, trade-offs, and next steps for stakeholders.
Create clear, visually compelling materials (dashboards, readouts, and slides) tailored to different audiences.
Support planning and forecasting with clean inputs, structured analysis, and thoughtful QA.
Own reporting, dashboards, and tooling
Own end-to-end delivery of specific reporting and analysis deliverables - from requirement gathering to build, deployment, documentation, and communication.
Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reporting that help teams self-serve and move faster.
Help develop and refine frameworks, templates, and reporting standards that scale beyond one partner or one use case.
Document definitions and processes so insights remain consistent and common requests become easier over time.

Partner with creative, operations, marketing, and technical teams to ensure insights are understood, actionable, and connected to business goals.
Provide ongoing support for deployed solutions, including training stakeholders to self-serve and improving adoption over time.
Collaborate with BI and engineering teams to flag and resolve data quality issues with clear evidence and proposed fixes.
Contribute to team rituals (weekly reporting, business reviews, post-mortems) with clean analysis and clear takeaways.
