We’re hiring an Analyst/ Writer, Media Content to join our Media Content team at EMARKETER.

The Role and Team:

As an Analyst on our Media Content team, you will write articles to support our ad-supported portfolio of newsletters, as well as longform guides and research reports to support our sponsored content program. In this role, you will also be responsible for supporting our events and multimedia programs as webinar moderator, podcast guest and moderator at industry events. 

This is a hybrid role working from our New York City HQ at One Liberty Plaza two times a week.

  • An Analytical Thinker who goes beyond the basic facts to offer analysis, insights and even actionable advice to audiences. 
  • An AI Change Agent who is comfortable with prompt engineering, tool evaluation, and upskilling their processes using new tech.
  • A Natural Communicator who is energized when presenting their ideas and insights to live audiences.
  • A Collaborative Team Player who enjoys bouncing ideas off of coworkers and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, research and write content for newsletters, articles, white papers and custom research reports.
  • Analyze data for sponsored research programs.
  • Uses generative AI to improve quality and efficiency of content production. 
  • Measures the impact of their content and suggests changes to improve performance. 
  • Moderates webinars, appears on EMARKETER podcast and participates in industry events as a subject matter expert. 
  • Builds an audience for their insights, especially on social media platforms like LinkedIN.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in creating B2C or B2B digital content for a media brand or within a content marketing department.
  • Experience creating compelling stories from data-driven insights.
  • Has covered industry developments in the digital marketing, advertising, commerce, and technology landscape.
  • Experience using generative AI and LLMs for content applications.  
  • Experience speaking on podcasts, webinars or industry events as a moderator or a presenter.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Base salary: $75,000-$85,000 (dependent on relevant expertise, and industry network).
