Job Title: Android Lead 


Job Overview: 



We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Android Lead to join our team of talented developers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android application development, coupled with proven leadership experience. As an Android Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of high-quality Android applications while providing technical leadership and mentoring to the team. 



Responsibilities: 


Lead a team of Android developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and facilitating collaboration to ensure successful project delivery. 

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and contribute to the architecture and design of applications. 

Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Android applications that meet coding standards, performance benchmarks, and user experience expectations. 

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. 

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Android development. 

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Android development. 

Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability. 

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. 

Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering their growth and technical excellence. 


Qualifications:  

Proven experience as an Android developer with a track record of delivering successful Android applications. 

Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages. 

Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and device screen sizes. 

Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of external APIs. 

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration, and deployment. 


Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
