We are seeking a Software Engineer to support and enhance the Oracle Financial Crimes Platform (version 8.1.1), a mission‑critical system used to enable Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) detection, case management, and regulatory reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, compliance, and controlled evolution of the Oracle FCP 8.1.1 environment through strong engineering practices, disciplined production support, and close partnership with Financial Crimes Risk Management and AML Operations.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience supporting Oracle‑based, batch‑driven platforms in highly regulated environments and understands the operational rigor required for financial crimes technology.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle FCP 8.1.1 Platform Support
- Provide engineering support for Oracle Financial Crimes Platform v8.1.1, including:
- Transaction monitoring outputs
- Alert generation and suppression behavior
- Enterprise Case Management (ECM)
- Downstream regulatory workflows (e.g., CTR‑related processing)
- Support daily and ad‑hoc batch cycles, scheduled jobs, and data feeds that drive FCP processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to:
- Missing or unexpected alerts
- Data quality or ingestion issues
- Batch failures or performance degradation
- Perform detailed root cause analysis and document findings in alignment with audit and regulatory expectations
Change, Risk & Control Management
- Support configuration changes, fixes, and enhancements within the constraints of FCP 8.1.1 architecture and approved governance processes
- Ensure all changes follow established change management, validation, and separation‑of‑duties controls
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures required for audits, exams, and regulatory reviews
- Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to assess regulatory impact of platform changes and production incidents
Testing & Release Support
- Participate in regression testing and validation activities for changes impacting Oracle FCP 8.1.1 and integrated platforms
- Support environment coordination, test data preparation, and post‑release verification
- Assist with release planning and production readiness activities, ensuring no unintended regulatory or operational impact
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with AML Operations, Financial Crimes Risk Management, and enterprise technology teams to translate business and regulatory needs into technical outcomes
- Contribute to Agile or Kanban‑based delivery models, including backlog refinement and technical design discussions
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex platform issues detected by operations or monitoring tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting or engineering enterprise applications in regulated environments
- Strong experience with:
- Oracle databases and SQL
- Batch processing and scheduled job execution
- Production support and incident management
- Demonstrated experience working on systems subject to regulatory oversight, audits, and exams
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Oracle Financial Crimes Platform (FCP / FCCM) version 8.x, preferably v8.1.1
- Familiarity with AML concepts such as transaction monitoring, alert review, and case workflows
- Experience supporting platforms integrated with multiple upstream and downstream data sources
- Experience operating in T2/T3 or CI‑Owner‑style accountability models
- Exposure to financial services regulatory frameworks (BSA/AML, OFAC, CTR/SAR processes)
Strong experience with:
- UNIX - experience with script writing
- Oracle – SQL, Stored Procedures
- Mainframe experience including
- TWS job scheduling
- JCL
- LCM (for module migration)
- WebSphere V9.X
- Java V1.8
- Dynatrace – Monitoring and Debugging
- Batch processing and scheduled job execution
- Production support and incident management

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.Please click here for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
