Job summary:
As an Investment Specialist - Vice President in the Asset Management Multi-Asset Solutions team, you will support the US Advisory Models business through a blend of client-facing, analytical, and reporting work. You will have the opportunity to engage in capital markets, asset allocation, and content creation in a fast paced environment. Your clear communication skills and attention to detail will be critical in this role.
Job responsibilities:
  • Present market and investment insights covering macroeconomic trends, tactical asset allocation, and diversification strategies, while clearly articulating model portfolio views and positioning to both internal sales partners and external clients through various channels such as prospecting conversations, quarterly reviews, and CE webinars.
  • Coverage for the investment specialist team, including meetings, client reporting, fielding inquiries from internal and external partners, and resolving them appropriately. Support relationships with the various US retail advisor sales channels; serve as primary point of contact for questions and inquiries related to the MAS retail business with a focus on Model Portfolios. Represent the team in strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs efficiently and independently.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Global Strategic Relationships and RFP teams to address client requirements using product expertise.
  • Represent the Investment Solutions team and collaborate with other teams on various ad-hoc projects. Ensure consistent delivery of accurate and detailed information to clients and internal teams.
  • Create high-quality written content on products and markets for client communications. Analyze client portfolios (returns, risk, performance attribution, etc.), create portfolio proposals, conduct analyses, and other ad-hoc client portfolio or business-related analysis.
  • Prepare strategy presentations with detailed portfolio analysis, positioning, analytics, and performance results. This may include preparing customized client presentations for review meetings and managing client deliverables and representing the team for key models clients.
  • Analyze portfolio data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Communicate key selling points of products and market trends to stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of organizational objectives.
  • Training internal sales force - collaborate with sales teams to train and equip advisors with relevant market talking points, product knowledge, and implementation strategies .

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • A working knowledge of investment design and portfolio construction. Strong market acumen
  • The environment is fast-paced and demanding. Relationship building skills, flexibility, and teamwork across various teams within and outside the product group is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial industry
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks are crucial elements to succeed in this role
  • Ability to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner, frequently under tight deadline
  • Intellectual curiosity - questioning the status quo
  • Series 7, Series 63, SIE required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Interest in pursuing CFA is desirable; possible sponsorship after one year
  • Prior experience in finance or related fields
  • Coding experience a plus
