Job Description
Our Global Alternatives Investment Solutions (GAIS) business is seeking an experienced specialist to grow its private credit business across primary fund investments, secondary transactions and co-investments. The candidate will source, underwrite and execute transactions across these three areas. This is an exciting opportunity to build out GAIS's dedicated private credit strategy and business.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Originate and underwrite a wide variety of private credit opportunities to identify attractive investment opportunities
  • Carry out detailed trade and fund level due diligence leading to actionable investments
  • Manage deal execution with team members, advisors, and transaction counterparties
  • Assist in portfolio management and running of both closed-end and evergreen funds
  • Meet with potential and current investors to explain our private credit strategy and provide updates

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
  • 6-10 years+ of investment industry experience with a strong underwriting background across either corporate or structured credit
  • Knowledge of private investments, ideally across multiple collateral types
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders within all aspects of private credit business
  • Lead private credit project management efforts across multiple concurrent processes
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Lead and mentor junior staff
  • Able to collaborate, problem solve and bring parties together when needed but also work independently
