Our client is a highly creative, multi-disciplinary branding, identity, marketing, communications, and design firm. They are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Manager to track and manage client billables and to support their office with administrative matters.

The Bookkeeper will report to the Managing Director and work closely with their outside accounting firm. Bookkeeping duties will require working with various departments to track billable work and expenses and generate monthly invoices as well as working with other staff and executives to generate estimates for billable work, travel and other third party costs, and production.

Office management duties will include maintaining and ordering supplies and other materials and equipment, helping to manage the flow of visitors, and assisting the Chairman in various tasks as requested.

  • Tracking billable work and expenses

  • Following up invoices to ensure payment
  • Generating expense and production estimates
  • Office administration

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Min. of 3 years of experience bookkeeping in relevant environment
  • Advertising agency experience preferred
  • Production experience preferred
  • Must have a 4-year college degree
  • Excellent computer skills – experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks software, and are willing to learn new systems as needed
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
