Established organization is seeking a dedicated nursing leader to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing for our OPWDD-certified residential programs, coordinating and overseeing nursing practices across our agency.
Your Impact
- Develop nursing objectives, policies, and procedures
- Establish and improve our Nursing Quality Assurance Plan
- Maintain compliance with care standards and regulations
- Implement ICF and IRA regulations
- Participate in management meetings and team conferences
- Provide healthcare consultation and emergency nursing coverage
Leadership Role
You'll guide a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Supervisors, and AMAP staff, fostering a culture of excellence through mentoring, collaboration, and accountability.
Qualifications- NYS Registered Nurse license
- BSN or Master's degree in Nursing
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- OPWDD experience strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000-$105,000
- 4 weeks’ vacation
