The Assistant Vice President, Junior Information Security Engineer will play a crucial role in our organization's Information Security department. This position requires a strong understanding of authentication systems, privileged access management, and identity governance solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed IAM best practices and automate identity governance. They will also define and enforce security policies, support incident response, and advise various IT teams on security controls. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our organization's security and technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer authentication systems, including LDAP, MS Active Directory, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Entra, with a focus on OIDC, OAuth, and SAML 2.0 protocols.
- Implement and maintain privileged access management solutions (PAM) such as CyberArk and Keeper.
- Deploy and configure Identity Governance solutions like SailPoint and IBM to ensure secure access and compliance.
- Utilize AI solutions to automate workflows and operations, with experience in administrating AI applications being advantageous.
- Partner with DevSecOps teams to integrate IAM practices into CI/CD pipelines, automating identity governance and access controls.
- Define and enforce security policies across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure data protection and compliance.
- Document and maintain system configurations, standards, and procedures in a centralized repository for easy access and reference.
- Support Incident Response globally, contributing to security incident exercises and ensuring a swift and effective response.
- Advise and guide project teams, application owners, and IT infrastructure services on implementing robust information security controls.
- Continuously improve team documentation, including run books, architecture diagrams, knowledge base articles, and FAQs.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Security, etc.).
- At least 5+ years of combined experience in identity and access management (IAM) and information security.
- Strong expertise in managing Identity Providers, including Microsoft Entra, Okta, and Auth0.
- Proficiency in authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and experience with PAM and Remote Desktop Solutions.
- Knowledge of IGA solutions and deployments (SailPoint, Saviynt) and API integrations.
- Experience with ticket management systems (Dynamics 365, ServiceNow) and PMO tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com).
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 products (Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Compensation Expectations: $110,000-$130,000 Base Salary
