Role Overview
- We are looking for a high-performing BDR currently working at an AI SaaS company who wants to move into a closing role.
- This position starts with a strong pipeline-generation focus, similar to a BDR role, but with a clear path to becoming a full Account Executive within approximately six months.
- You will initially focus on generating opportunities and qualifying prospects. As you demonstrate success, you will begin owning parts of the sales cycle and closing deals.
What You Will Do
Pipeline Generation (Primary Focus Initially)
- Prospect into target accounts using email, LinkedIn, calls, and other outreach methods
- Identify and engage decision makers in ecommerce and retail
- Book discovery meetings and build qualified pipeline
- Qualify prospects and identify potential use cases
- Conduct early discovery conversations
- Work closely with senior sales leadership on deal progression
Transition to Account Executive
Once ramped, you will begin:
- Running product demos
- Managing smaller opportunities end-to-end
- Participating in deal strategy and negotiations
- Closing deals and managing your own pipeline
Required Background
- Currently working as a BDR/SDR or an AE at an AI SaaS company
- 2–3 years of SaaS sales development experience
- Proven ability to generate meetings and pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Experience selling or positioning AI-driven products or platforms
