Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh, with the role open to candidates anywhere in the United States, preferably based in Chicago or New York.

This role will oversee the development and execution of business plans to drive team and account success while maximizing profitability through efficient practices, accurate billing, and expense control; cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision makers by staying informed of organizational changes; lead renewal and broking strategy planning to meet performance targets; and manage complex claims strategies, supporting negotiations to achieve fair settlements.

We will count on you to:

  • Monitor the preparation, management, and achievement of business plans and goals to drive team and account success.

  • Maximize team and account profitability through efficient work practices, accurate client billing, and sensible expense control.

  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key client decision makers, staying informed of organizational changes to protect and grow client relationships.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance meets targets.

  • Oversee claims management strategies for complex or large claims, assisting in negotiations to achieve equitable settlements.

What you need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in account management within the insurance or risk management industry.

  • Strong understanding of client business, risk management, and insurance needs.

  • Ability to lead teams, monitor performance, and take corrective actions to meet client and company expectations.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.

  • Experience in claims management and negotiation of claim settlements.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $63,100 to $134,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
