Job Purpose

You will primarily work with the senior Capital Formation team in the US, while also collaborating with teams across Europe and Asia. Your main focus is on supporting fundraising efforts through investor origination and distribution, including organizing roadshows and investor meetings. Additionally, you will produce marketing materials, conduct research, provide market insights, and manage relevant CRM systems.

A key responsibility is delivering exceptional Investor Relations Services to investors, handling due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing interactions. Over the medium term, you will evolve into leading on investor origination and distribution to aid in capital raising and revenue generation for the firm.

 Key Job Responsibilities 

Origination and distribution

  • Lead and manage investor origination and interactions for the US Capital Formation team, including preparing briefing memos, conducting research on investors and target markets, and organizing investor meetings and roadshows.
  • Develop, update, and review standard content and custom materials for investor interactions, while maintaining accurate CRM systems to track investor profiles and support fundraising campaigns.

 

Fundraising and due diligence

  • Address investor inquiries on products, strategies, and markets while leading the collation and drafting of responses to due diligence questionnaires, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Support project management tasks such as data room management, on-site due diligence, document coordination, and compliance procedures to facilitate investor onboarding and secure commitments.

 

Investor Relationship Management

  • Organize and participate in investor calls and meetings, while preparing and managing accurate communication materials and ensuring compliance processes for investor interactions across regions.
  • Update fund documentation and performance data, support the creation and distribution of regular and ad-hoc investor reports, and conduct market research to provide key updates.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience with a private market fund, consulting or IR experience is required, ideally in infrastructure or energy investment related
  • Open ended fund experience is highly beneficial
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative, diligent and self-motivated individual who demonstrates relentless attention to detail and able to deliver work in a well thought-out and structured way.
  • Able to multi-task and to work accurately and systematically to deadlines.
  • Clear and concise communication and inter-personal skills (both verbal and written) in English to interact with external parties, InfraRed colleagues and advisors
  • Other languages, particularly Spanish and Japanese, are a plus
  • Strong team player, able to connect and build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Commercially aware and professional with the ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in terms of client affairs and documents.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • FINRA Series 63 and 7 license holder preferred

The base salary range offered for this position is between $130,000 - 150,000 per annum. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
