Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Associate will support website marketing initiatives and contribute to Cohen & Steers’ broader digital marketing efforts. This role is primarily focused on the execution, maintenance, and optimization of the firm’s website, including content updates, campaign support, reporting, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

The Associate will work closely with Marketing, Product, IT, Legal/Compliance, and other internal partners to ensure website content is accurate, compliant, timely, and aligned with business goals. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for an early-career digital marketer looking to grow expertise in website management and digital marketing best practices. Cohen & Steers is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.


Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Website Marketing & Execution

  • Support the execution of website marketing initiatives, updates, and campaigns
  • Assist with day-to-day website management, including content publishing, page updates, and basic troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Product, IT, Legal/Compliance) to ensure timely and accurate website updates
  • Work within the CMS to maintain website content, navigation, and assets
  • Help manage digital repositories, including documents, disclosures, and directories, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with coordinating external vendors and agencies related to website development or hosting
  • Support SEO, accessibility, content optimization, calls-to-action, and engagement initiatives
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure website functionality, accuracy, and consistency across browsers and devices

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools and dashboards
  • Assist with basic analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support tagging and tracking efforts in collaboration with senior team members

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of integrated digital marketing and omnichannel campaigns
  • Support website-related aspects of email, automation, and CRM initiatives as needed
  • Work to support website strategy for Cohen & Steers and help integrate online platforms with other digital assets

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or a related role (internships included)
  • Hands-on experience with a content management system (CMS); WordPress experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and/or Google Tag Manager preferred
  • Exposure to marketing automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) a plus
  • Experience working with digital assets, documents, and content libraries
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn with a problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in Financial Services a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
  • Is able to abide by the firm’s hybrid work arrangement policy in New York City office (4 days in-office/1 day remote)
