The Team:

The goal of the Client Solutions Group is to influence asset flows and revenue across S&P Dow Jones Indices (SPDJI) index-linked solutions and products. You will be part of a dynamic team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, while building robust client relationships. With over USD 7.4 trillion in passively managed assets linked to our indices and over USD 11.3 trillion benchmarked to our indices, our solutions are widely considered indispensable in tracking market performance, evaluating portfolios and developing investment strategies.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Client Solutions Group, Americas, you will manage the Southeast territory by partnering directly with asset management’s distribution teams, key centers of influence within wealth managers and institutional clients
  • Drive business development across your region and support the commercial strategy across asset and wealth managers
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SPDJI indices. Provide thought leadership and educational presentations across various audiences
  • Update activity in CRM and work with sales management on territory objectives
  • Partner with S&P DJI commercial and product teams to develop and cultivate a pipeline of contacts. Build strong relationships internally, liaising with Sales, Client Service, Index Investment Strategy (IIS), Marketing, and Product teams to support new and existing client initiatives

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,387 to $175,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ industry experience as a proven consultative sales professional with experience and contacts in wealth and investment management
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of direct indexing/personalized indexing, index-based investing and model portfolio competitive landscape
  • Familiarity and prior experience supporting Unified and Separate Managed Accounts (UMA/SMA), Model Portfolios, Investment Advisory Solutions platforms and RIA channel advisors
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics internally and externally
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and have exceptional time management skills
  • Must be comfortable with moderate travel (> 25% of the time)
  • Undergraduate degree required; CFA and/or MBA preferred (or progress to)
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (highly preferred)
