The Position
The Associate Director, Enterprise-wide Capabilities Employee Experience will proactively lead/execute the development of medium to high complexity learning curriculums for individual contributor, 1st line leader, and 2nd line leader development. This individual will performance consult with client groups to assess business gaps and propose learning solutions. Will be responsible to proactively help build and evolve prioritized capabilities in pursuit of measurable business outcomes across the enterprise. Learning solution development should be innovative, relevant, timely, while meeting the needs of the modern professional and learner and addressing enterprise-wide capability needs.
Relationships
Reports to the Director, Enterprise-wide Capabilities EE. Closely collaborates with all levels of management within the business units, when sponsoring or serving as SMEs. Interacts with Enterprise-wide Leadership regarding US Business Operations training needs and proposed initiatives. Partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Global colleagues (i.e. P&O, Medical, Global Product Directors, etc.). External relationships may include interaction with various outside partners to support In-House and Field L&D needs and/or facilitation. Ownership of National Strategic L&D Initiatives require matrix team leadership to completion of desired project outcome (project core team, business sponsor, training sponsor, stakeholders, client group(s) etc.)
Essential Functions • Build and manage assigned curricula & measurement strategies within (mid-high complex curriculum and/or asset build to support individual contributor, 1st line leader, and 2nd line leader development) • Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with divisional learning team, senior level managers and business SMEs to understand their business needs and related performance gaps • Lead collaborative efforts with stakeholders to define desired performance outcomes; provide feedback and coaching on issues related to learning programs and policies • Through performance consulting, identify performance needs and gaps and facilitate delivery of learning solutions to the business, when appropriate • Monitor, analyze, interpret, and report internal trends; make recommendations for learning solutions for the division or function, as appropriate • Liaise and partner with HRBPs, Talent Management, Global P&O, and other relevant P&O CoE colleagues to design, develop, curate, co-create learning solutions, as needed • Liaise and partner with business management leads to ensure relevance and value of curriculum and successful learning outcomes • Engage in tactical vendor management • Adhere to content management strategy and create awareness of asset development within Employee Experience
Physical Requirements
20-30% overnight travel required.
Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred • 8 years Learning & Development or progressive HR experience preferred. Prior applicable Novo Nordisk experience will apply • Prefer an understanding and practical experience in the following areas: training needs assessment; training strategies development; training delivery; learner assessment; training program evaluation; training program design; curriculum development; budget allocation • Experience with leading enterprise-wide curriculum, capabilities and learning & development experience required. Proficiency in the enterprise-wide functions and project management highly preferred • Strong executive presence required - ability to impact, influence and interact with senior business leaders and partners • Strong cross-functional leader and communicator required • Strong strategic and business analysis skills required • Strong project management skills required • Presentation skills required
The base compensation range for this position is $116,810 to $216,100. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position's level or other company factors.
