Position Summary

As Associate Director, Growth Analytics this role will be pivotal in managing development of research strategy and ad effectiveness measurement across client campaigns, informing in-flight optimizations, and building higher level learnings to inform future planning. The role will apply the agency’s proprietary ad effectiveness and measurement tools, as well as 3rd party vendor solutions, to assess the impact of advertising on the client’s business. This role is for a business partnership in which our clients are highly engaged, strategically minded, and reliant on our recommendations as to what will best serve their business. The development and delivery of data-based insights is critical to how they operate. The role spans across internal and external clients globally.

Responsibilities
  • Guide internal agency partners to understand client’s media strategy, design measurement approaches for cross-channel campaigns, work with internal and external partners to implement, track progress in-flight, lead reporting of performance to client.
  • Owns client and partner relationships, helps drive strategy, measurement methodologies, and learning plans.
  • Directly manages a team of Associate Analysts through Manager and is responsible for their growth and development.
  • Create holistic analyses incorporating different campaigns and data sources that move beyond an explanation of ‘what happened’ to ‘what is important,’ ‘why it happened’ and ‘what should be done’ to help inform future strategy.
  • Regularly present measurement and findings to internal stakeholders and senior clients on areas such as ad performance and consumer targeting.
  • Communicate succinctly and professionally to senior leadership at the client and agency.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Leadership or management experience in digital marketing and understanding of broad range of online advertising media channels from Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, Social and Programmatic
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated success in helping clients take concrete action based on analytics and data and managing analytical and commercial elements of a client relationship
  • Must have strong project management skills and be able to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ability to work under pressure
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in agency or client side digital media planning or media research & analytics
  • Highly accountable self-starter with the ability to work well within a group, as well as independently
  • Demonstrated success leading work multi-functional teams preferred
  • Collaboration, including ability to provide clarity in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Presentation story building, development, and delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication
