THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, intellectually curious Associate Director, Paid Search to join our in-house paid media team. As an associate director, you will help our clients achieve long-term sustainable growth by combining your search expertise with excellent client communication skills. As a subject matter expert, you should be able to confidently demonstrate to clients how your SEM strategy aligns with client business objectives. Strong candidates will have knowledge of SA360 and experience. Depending on your location, this role could be hybrid (NYC, Nashville, LA, San Francisco, Miami) or remote. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own all facets of SEM management for campaigns under your purview: Build, Optimize, Scale.
  • Optimize to down-funnel KPIs while bidding to allowable front-end CPLs based on matured data.
  • Present campaign updates to clients during weekly status calls and implement new tactics based on business needs.
  • Effectively write ad copy and optimize at every level (ad copy, keywords, search terms, structure)
  • Strategize with account management to plan budgets, track KPIs, and set achievable growth targets.
  • Identify and recommend new areas of growth to capitalize on market demand.
  • Use SA360 to implement and troubleshoot lead tracking solutions in coordination with client teams.

  • Growth Mindset: You have a proven track record of growing SEM budgets and exceeding goals.
  • Presentation Skills: You should be comfortable briefly presenting client-friendly takeaways from your campaign portfolio on a regular basis.
  • Analytical Ability: You thrive in a data-rich environment and are accustomed to making SEM decisions based on a disciplined analytical process.

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of relevant paid search experience.
  • Hands-on experience in managing monthly campaign budgets of $500k+.
  • SA360 Experience
  • Google Ads certification a plus.

SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $110,000 depending on location and experience.
