The Job at a Glance

evermore is looking for a seasoned industry professional to scale our Print and Card Fulfillment operations. As Associate Director of Print and Card Fulfillment, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mailed member communications and benefit card delivery — from material customization strategy and vendor supply chain to operational infrastructure and continuous innovation. You will define how evermore fulfills benefit cards cost-efficiently and at scale.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role sitting at the intersection of operations, product, finance, and member experience. You will inherit an existing foundation of vendor relationships and workflows and will be expected to elevate both significantly to meet the pace of growth at evermore. This year's roadmap is ambitious: you will lead negotiations of card personalization and fulfilment contracts, build operational redundancy through supplier onboarding, establish real-time production monitoring and alerting, and drive a fast, error-free material creation process — all while ensuring flawless card fulfillment for a growing book of health plan and other clients.

What You Will Do

Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the sameTypical responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead the Print Solutions organization. Develop a high-performing team across design, card and print production, vendor management, and workflow automation. Define the vision for print at evermore, foster a culture of operational excellence, and serve as the primary cross-functional stakeholder for Implementation, Product Engineering, Finance, and Legal/Compliance.
  • Own card personalization and fulfillment end-to-end. Drive strategy across the full card production lifecycle — from design, material procurement, embossing, and secure member delivery. Ensure operations meet payment scheme standards and data security requirements, and partner with Product and Engineering to build dynamic, configurable production workflows that scale across benefit types and client configurations.
  • Drive cost efficiency and vendor supply chain performance. Negotiate emboss and print vendor contracts to incentivize SLA performance and deliver ongoing savings through competitive bidding. Establish a governance framework covering vendor risk, SLA accountability, cost monitoring, and business continuity.
  • Ensure operational reliability and quality. Build a vendor monitoring and alerting system to eliminate out-of-stock events and catch SLA misses in real time. Drive the scheduling, QA, and fulfillment phases of the print production lifecycle, ensuring jobs are delivered at quality and on time against client and vendor deadlines.
  • Automate and improve material creation. Lead the initiative to make collateral creation fast and error-free — mapping the print process end-to-end and automating workflows from client requirements receipt through production and delivery. Own the collateral review and approval process, manage versioned materials across client configurations, and guide design as they build scalable, high-quality print templates for cards and carriers, benefit catalogs, and ad-hoc member communications.
  • Report, forecast, and continuously improve. Define and own KPIs for print and card operations, build daily operational and executive-level performance reporting, and drive budgeting and forecasting for the organization. Introduce structured process reviews, vendor scorecards, and post-launch retrospectives to sustain operational gains over time.

About You

While every candidate brings a unique resume and prospective, an ideal candidate will include:

  • 7+ years of experience in print operations, card production, supply chain management, or a closely related field — with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling operations and associated tooling and processes.
  • Deep knowledge of the print production and fulfillment lifecycle — including material procurement, embossing, work order management, QA processes, and secure data handling.
  • Strong expertise in print and card vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management — with specific experience negotiating agreements to achieve cost and SLA improvements.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience forecasting, managing budgets, and delivering financial results tied to P&L or cost reduction goals.
  • Experience driving process automation and systems integration projects in partnership with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills — you earn trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and influence without authority.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment where priorities shift and resourcefulness is essential.
  • Experience in healthcare is a strong plus.
