argenx US Commercial Planning and Readiness organization is growing and seeking an Associate Director, US Rheumatology Commercial Insights. This position will report to the Director, US Commercial Insights

The Associate Director, Commercial Insights will own and define the US insights strategy and learning agenda, proactively identifying key business questions and shaping decision-making across the rheumatology portfolio.

This role serves as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional and senior leadership, proactively identifying key business questions, defining the insights roadmap, and ensuring insights are translated into actionable recommendations that influence market development and go-to-market strategy.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:MARKET RESEARCH PLANNING & EXECUTION
  • Partner with cross-functional and global commercialization partners to identify market intelligence needs and deliver key insights to support market development and go-to-market strategies

  • Translate business questions into clear, structured research plans and learning agendas to support rheumatology team

  • Ensure methodological rigor and best practices across all qual & quant, primary & secondary research activities

  • Synthesize insights across multiple data sources (market research, CI, analytics, field insights) to deliver a unified, integrated view of the market and customer

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
  • Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional leadership, influencing decisions across commercial, medical, analytics, and market access

  • Drive alignment across US and global stakeholders on key insights and strategic implications

  • Ensure insights drive tangible business decisions, including influencing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market approach

INNOVATION
  • Contribute to an innovative culture that strives for out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches to insights generation, including new methodologies, tools, and data sources

  • Lead efforts to continuously improve how insights are generated, synthesized, and applied to strategy

VENDOR AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT
  • Manage vendor partnerships with a focus on quality, innovation, and value creation

  • Partner with Finance and Director of Commercial Insights to manage the department budget including vendor agreements and contracts

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Highly skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key stakeholders within the commercial and medical organization

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic decisions in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to integrate disparate data sources into clear, strategic narratives that drive business impact

  • Long-term and strategic thinking to evolve research methods to elevate the role of insights in commercial decision making

  • Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and develop a research plan to provide actionable insights

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS, Advanced Degree preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare market insights or relevant commercial functions

  • Demonstrated expertise conducting primary market research, preferably in rare disease

  • Expertise in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies required.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively define business issues and recommendations

  • Launch experience in rare disease and/or rheumatology a plus

  • Familiarity with leading pharma industry commercial vendors and data sources

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $168,000.00 - $231,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
