An international team (French, British, German, Polish, Canadian, US, Japanese) with complementary backgrounds across investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational disciplines.
Alumni of INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris, École des Ponts ParisTech, ESSEC, Imperial College and Dartmouth, among others.
Professional backgrounds spanning Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, Capiton, Partners Group), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC) and Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, pharmacy and veterinary).
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, the Associate Director of Investor Relations will play a key execution role across the firm's capital formation and LP engagement activities. This is a high-impact position with meaningful LP exposure, ownership of core IR workstreams and the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership on strategic initiatives. The role is ideal for a strong performer ready to step up into broader responsibility and deepen their LP coverage footprint.
FUNDRAISING EXECUTION
Work alongside the Head of Investor Relations and senior IR team to execute fundraising campaigns across flagship funds, co-investment vehicles and GP-led secondaries, contributing to market analysis, investor targeting and campaign planning.
Lead the production of institutional-quality fundraising materials including PPM, DDQ, pitch decks, VDR content and track record analytics. Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Investment and Impact teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
Support legal and structural workstreams alongside external counsel and service providers through the fund formation and launch process.
Represent ARCHIMED at investor conferences, industry events and LP meetings alongside senior team members, and develop into an articulate external voice for the firm's strategy, performance and impact story.
Manage a growing book of LP relationships across geographies and channels (sovereigns, pensions, insurers, endowments, foundations, fund of funds, family offices, consultants). Identify and help cultivate new prospects to expand the firm's investor base.
Support roadshow execution including scheduling, materials, meeting preparation, follow-ups and pipeline tracking in the CRM.
IR OPERATIONS
Run core IR operational workstreams including quarterly and annual fund and co-investment reporting, working closely with Finance, Impact and Investment Teams.
Own day-to-day LP servicing including information requests, DDQ updates, capital call and distribution communications, secondary transfers and bespoke LP requests, escalating to senior IR team members as appropriate.
Help plan and execute the Investor AGM and other LP events alongside the Communications team, taking ownership of defined workstreams end to end.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of IR systems, processes and reporting standards as the platform scales.
CO-INVESTMENTS, GP-LED SECONDARIES & STRATEGIC VEHICLES
Support the co-investment program with existing LPs and new institutional investors, partnering with deal teams to package and syndicate opportunities.
Contribute to the execution of GP-led secondaries, continuation vehicles and other bespoke capital solutions, taking ownership of defined workstreams alongside senior IR and deal team members.
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, LP coverage, placement or related roles within private equity, investment banking or alternative asset management.
- Developing network of institutional LP relationships with demonstrated ability to manage LP interactions with increasing autonomy.
- Strong financial acumen. Working fluency with fund structuring, LPA terms, performance metrics (gross and net IRR, TVPI, DPI, PME) and portfolio analytics.
- Solid understanding of market practice, fund terms and the competitive landscape in private equity. Healthcare sector knowledge a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to translate complex investment theses, industry dynamics and deal structures into clear, factual narratives for sophisticated LP audiences.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel, drive projects to completion and deliver under pressure without sacrificing quality.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with IR CRM systems (Dynamo, Backstop, Altvia or similar) preferred.
- Higher education degree in finance, economics or business administration. CFA or MBA a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in helping build the IR function as the firm grows.
