Associate Director

About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite professional with a strong understanding of core financial business processes and engagement management experience with at least 8+ years of hands-on NetSuite implementations experience. This role will be responsible for overseeing and architecting complex NetSuite Implementation programs in the capacity of an Engagement Manager and Solution Architect. This role will require analyzing business needs, assessing technology landscapes, evaluating solution architecture, designing tailored NetSuite solutions, and advising clients through successful ERP implementations part of larger transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in finance and accounting workflows, system configurations, and leading practices for optimizing NetSuite to meet business objectives and managing a team of resources to deliver large scale NetSuite transformation programs 

Key Responsibilities 

• Serve in the capacity of an Engagement Manager to manage client expectations, identify, architect and delivery a NetSuite transformation project.  
  

• Must have NetSuite solution architect experience being able to identify customer challenges, solution design future state solutions and oversee an engagement team to deliver potential solutions. 
  

• Must have Sales Cycle experience. The ideal candidate should be able to listen to customer pain points and based on experience craft solution proposals.  
  

• Must have experiences responding to formal RFPs, conducting sales cycles and discovery discussion, crafting project estimates and doing executive readouts with stakeholders. 
  
• Must have experience managing project administration, financials, and resource management. 
  

• Must be able to manage and over multiple projects at a time.  
  

• Lead,support, and architect NetSuite implementations, configurations, and optimizations, ensuring alignment with business requirements. 
  

• Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, define project scope, and drive adoption. 
  

• Must have experience analyzing and mapping core financial processes (e.g., General Ledger, AP/AR, Revenue Recognition, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Financial Reporting). 
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into NetSuite solutions. 
  

• Must have experience configuring and customizing NetSuite, including workflows, saved searches, and reports, to enhance system functionality and integrate with third-party applications Scripting experience is a plus. 
  

• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within NetSuite. 
  

• Provide quality assurance on user training, support, and documentation to ensure effective system adoption by clients 
  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration and system scalability. 
  

• Provide quality assurance on data migration, system testing, and troubleshooting during implementation and post-go-live support. 
  

• Stay up to date with NetSuite updates and industry best practices to provide proactive recommendations.Assist with NetSuite Practice Development and Business Development activities. 
  

• Manage project teams and mentor junior resources. 
  

Qualifications & Experience 

• 8 + years of experience in NetSuite implementation and consulting, with a focus on financial modules. 
  

• 4+ years supporting Business development activities and supporting Pre-Sales activities.  
  

• Must have experience supporting sales discovery calls, create sales proposals, performing sales solutions readout, creating project estimates, assembling project teams and additional project management administrative duties. 
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and core business processes (CPA or finance background is a plus). 
  

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite configurations, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and saved searches. 
  

• Experience in business process mapping and optimization within NetSuite. 
  

• Oversee data migration efforts, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading into NetSuite. 
  

• Oversee training sessions for end-users and provide post- implementation support to ensure smooth adoption. 
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions. 
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong background in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies with experience using tools like JIRA, Asana, or Microsoft Project. 
  

• Experience with SuiteScript, integrations, or other ERP systems is a plus. 
  

• Experienced in writing deliverables such as BRDs, TDDs, SOPs, Project Plans, as well, as supporting sales cycles by drafting SOW, COs, Proposals, etc. 
  

• NetSuite Certification required (NetSuite SuiteFoundation, NetSuite Administrator, NetSuite ERP Consultant, etc.)
