We are seeking an Associate to support our G&A budgeting for the North America Office portfolio, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. This role will assist with corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations and play a critical role in supporting firmwide financial strategies, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting key business decisions.

Role & Responsibilities:

Portfolio Oversight & Reporting:

  • Assist with the preparation and consolidation of G&A budgets and reforecasts for the Operating Company, working closely with Department and regional finance leads to understand assumptions and expected activities
  • Support the development and refinement of financial assumptions related to salaries, benefits, CBRE fees, and transformation costs through the analysis of historical results, business trends and forecast inputs
  • Analyze allocation methodologies and fluctuations preparing variance analyses and reporting to support financial performance and decision making
  • Assist in the review of Fee Revenue as part of the Business Plan to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for revenue optimization
  • Prepare profitability reporting and forecasting while highlighting key insights and supporting management decision-making and performance improvement
  • Develop an understanding of fee structures and expense allocation mechanisms within fund/property cost recovery pools to enhance financial transparency and accountability
  • Partner with the Legal team to review and interpret new or amended management agreements to summarize financial implications and communicate key changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare quarterly reporting for Office leadership through monitoring and reporting on critical financial metrics, highlighting areas of concern
  • Support the evaluation of  cost-saving opportunities by reviewing management agreements to uncover potential areas for cost optimization and operational efficiency
  • Assist with the administration of the BOX Corporate revolver, including the administration of rollover notices, interest payments, and related financial activities, supporting compliance with financial covenants

North America Lease Reporting Support:

  • Assist with the preparation of lease reporting deliverables, including quarterly reporting submissions, budget inputs, leasing activity summaries, and supporting analyses used to evaluate portfolio performance
  • Partner with Leasing, Asset Management, Legal, Accounting, and other stakeholders to track lease activity, validate information, and support the accuracy and completeness of lease-related reporting
  • Assist with the maintenance and review of leasing data within VTS and Yardi, performing quality control checks, investigating discrepancies, and supporting system enhancement and process improvement initiatives

Project Management & Corporate FP&A Support:

  • Support key Corporate FP&A initiatives and cross-functional projects by coordinating inputs, preparing analyses, tracking deliverables, and assisting with implementation efforts across the Finance organization
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Legal, and other business groups to support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects that drive operational efficiency and business objectives
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, presentations, and project-related deliverables for senior management, helping to communicate insights and support strategic decision-making
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or related field
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, Yardi, Excel)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000

Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan

Dental Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Dental Plan

Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Vision Plan

Retirement: 401(k), RRSP
