Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking to hire a 2nd or 3rd year associate to join the New
York Litigation-General practice group in the Litigation Global Business Unit, a fast-paced and
exciting group that provides the highest level of client service. The successful candidate should
have a strong academic background along with exceptional research, writing, analytical, and
communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation (fact
investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial, trial, settlement, etc.) and developing
and maintaining strong business and client relationships. Ability to work effectively under pressure
and to meet deadlines is essential. Just as important, the candidate should have strong organizational
and matter management skills. Previous or current employment with an Am Law 100 firm is
desired.

Candidate is required to have a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor degree (JD) from an accredited
U.S. law school and be a member of the New York State Bar in good standing. All inquiries will be
held in strict confidence.

New York pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience is
$235,000 – $260,000.
