Job Description

Role - MuleSoft Architect
Location - Remote USA
Work Model - Remote with travel to East Coast USA
Employment type - Full time Employee

Job Overview: 

  • Looking for a MuleSoft expert with 10-12 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience with MuleSoft Any point API Platform and Cloud hub. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT program managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end architecture of a solution, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client. Assist in architecting technical solutions for enterprise systems using the MuleSoft product suite to drive the value equation and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment Knowledge of SOA.
  • Play a lead role to help, promote, implement, and educate the team on topics related to API-based initiatives, architectures, and industry trends.
  • Maintain strong hands-on skills with MuleSoft Any point Platform and stay current on MuleSoft products, strategies, and good practices by maintaining relationships with the MuleSoft product teams, interacting regularly with the overall MuleSoft community, and proactively pursuing training opportunities as needed.
  • Engage on client projects as a trusted advisor and architect to address client questions, make architecture recommendations, educate client team, and support the delivery team on the project.
  • Assist with solution planning for new clients and translate business requirements into a technical approach that utilizes strong design and development patterns and frameworks.
  • Apply API-led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve goals with APIs.
  • Oversee all phases of the development life cycle on client engagements, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support.
  • Help manage the technical scope on engagements to prevent scope creep and deviation from the contract.
  • Follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices.
  • Continue to develop professional and technical knowledge by working with other team members, attending workshops and webinars, reading industry publications, and participating in technology communities.
  • Design and build an integration between multiple on-premises and cloud-hosted systems.
  • Designing and developing enterprise services using RAML in Mule, REST-based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of different mule connectors.
  • Expert knowledge in XML, SOAP, WSDL, RAML Very strong on deploying and configuring APIs in the cloud environment.
  • Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-standards, in order to be able to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings.
  • Identify, analyze, and design integration flows using Mule ESB Any point Studio and technically own and manage the process of ensuring on time and budget build and integration of the various elements of the solution.
  • Responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the underlying technology components can realistically deliver the solution services.
  • Good understanding of integration design patterns & best practices.
  • In-depth experience using Agile, Scrum and iterative development practices.
  • Assist in technical POC''s to prove out the technology and ultimately leading into selection.
  • Develop a quick prototyping or proof-of-concepts in new technologies in the technology or platform evaluation phase including AWS integration project works. Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end

Qualifications

Must have skills:
10 + years of overall experience is required, 3 years of experience with MuleSoft Architecture.
MuleSoft Any point Platform (Expert), MuleSoft Integration Architecture, MuleSoft Platform Architecture.
