FOX Weather is available via foxweather.com, the FOX Weather app on IOS and Android devices, as well as Tubi, Apple TV, Amazon, and Roku, through FOX’s Connected TV Apps.JOB DESCRIPTIONWe’re looking for an Associate Producer to join the FOX Weather team in NY. As an Associate Producer, you will pitch stories, compile research, coordinate video and graphic elements, and work hands-on with our on-air meteorologists. You will contribute to our social media presence, as well as identify compelling user-generated content. The Associate Producer has strong production skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, breaking news environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pitch daily story ideas ranging from breaking weather events to feature stories and trend-driven coverage
Assist in producing live and taped segments for FOX Weather programming
Find the best sound bites, video, and graphics to build the most informative and compelling segments
Write banners and teases, edit video, and occasionally assist with guest booking while reacting quickly to breaking news
Quickly identify and verify strong user-generated content from multiple sources for use across FOX Weather platforms
Collaborate closely with meteorologists, producers, and the digital team to support coverage across broadcast and social channels
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
Production experience in a newsroom or live production environment
Passion for weather and storytelling; weather experience is a plus
Experience with broadcast weather display systems is a bonus
Familiarity with live control room operations
Strong writing and segment-producing skills
Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly during breaking news

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
