The Associate Software Developer will act as the technical bridge between our core engineering products and our global client base. This role is perfect for an early-career developer who enjoys problem solving, debugging, and working closely with Client Success teams to ensure our platforms perform at scale. You will not just “support” the product; you will own its reliability and grow alongside it.
The primary responsibilities of this job include:
- Support the Client Success team by investigating and resolving client-reported technical issues across web and mobile platforms.
- Perform scenario-based testing for development tickets - designing and executing test cases that reflect real user workflows, edge cases, and failure conditions before and after releases.
- Monitor, debug, and escalate issues within RESTful web services, flagging revenue-impacting problems with clarity and urgency.
- Assist in eligibility file processing and system monitoring to help maintain data integrity across environments.
- Coordinate seamlessly with India-based support team to ensure maximum support coverage and exceptional client experience.
- Participate in design and code reviews, contributing constructive feedback and learning from senior engineers.
- 0–2 years of backend experience with server-side languages (e.g. Javascript, TypeScript, Node) and frontend framework (e.g. React)
- AWS Certified Developer/Solution Architect – Big Advantage
- Experience with database programming and performance (e.g. SQL, MongoDB)
- Strong understanding of SQL. Experience with Snowflake and Tableau would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of how to write and execute unit and functional test cases, including scenario-based QA for tickets.
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, serverless and container technologies (Lambda, Docker); exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent is a plus.
- Basic experience contributing to or reviewing distributed systems and scalable architectures.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS).
- Familiarity with REST and RESTful services.
- Exposure to system monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
