Broadridge is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions to meet evolving technology and business needs. This role is part of a collaborative and agile development environment where you'll contribute to building and improving applications, systems, and infrastructure that drive Broadridge’s success.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, modifies, adapts, and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure

  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements software solutions

  • Provides application software development services typically in a defined project scope

  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications

  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented

  • May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment

  • Applies a theoretical knowledgebase to work to achieve goals through own work

  • Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education

  • May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise

Qualifications:
  • Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression

  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts

  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

  • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems

  • Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others
