The Associate Strategist role will be an integral part of the Strategy team and will be responsible for delivering and supporting all service areas within the department and across multiple projects. The Associate Strategist has a keen ability to find and communicate consumer insights, inspiring powerful creative ideas. They obsess about finding the human truth in the why as much as the data. This position provides a unique opportunity to not only participate in consumer and industry research, but to garner and hone new skills in performance marketing for a company that is looking to change the future of digital marketing. 

You Will: 

  • Perform research, online competitive and best practice analyses that supports client projects 
  • Help to define, execute, and implement digital marketing initiatives within common digital channels including social, display, programmatic and digital video 
  • Help to translate performance marketing data into strategic recommendations for improving brand campaign concepts, customer voice, RTBs/messages and rationales through a detailed summary report, briefs and POVs 
  • Help to define measurement strategies partnering with our Marketing Science team to support ongoing strategy development and site or program optimization. 
  • Help to run test & learn programs within key campaigns with a focus on driving performance insight and optimization strategies 
  • Communicate research findings to project team members and, potentially, clients 
  • Create, distribute, and present research overviews on customer experience topics or specific client industries 

 

You Have: 

  • The ability to use, analyze, and translate data - making connections to the big picture 
  • A passion for social, cultural and technology trends 
  • An understanding of digital marketing 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, flexible environment 
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Demonstrate attention to detail while maintaining overall understanding of the big picture 
  • A collaborative approach conducive to working in a cross-discipline team environment 
  • Post-secondary education, certification, or experience in a related field preferred

The salary  for this role, based in New York is $65,000 and we continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position
