Job Description
The Talent Management Associate is a key member of the Talent Management team who supports HR Business Partners and assigned client groups through employee lifecycle coordination, annual talent processes, headcount tracking, reporting, and day-to-day talent management support. This role partners closely with HR Operations, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, and Legal to deliver a responsive, accurate, and well-governed employee experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is process-oriented, highly organized, takes initiative, flexible, and eager to grow in a dynamic HR environment. This role is well suited for someone with foundational HR experience who is motivated to deepen their skills while supporting a fast-paced, evolving organization.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
Partner with Global/Lead HR Business Partner(s) in supporting assigned business/client groups
Serve as an initial HR contact for designated employee populations on routine talent-management matters, escalating more complex issues to senior HR Business Partners as appropriate.
Support the Talent Management team of HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR matters
Facilitate employee changes, such as transfers, data updates, promotions, and more
Facilitate voluntary and involuntary separations, execute relevant legal documentation, and conduct exit interviews
Anticipate HR and business needs in efforts to help drive results
Oversee position management and headcount tracking for relevant business units
Develop working knowledge of relevant employment policies and processes and partner with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Legal as appropriate.
Support the Talent Management team with executing projects in support of the strategic agenda and annual priorities
Support annual HR processes including performance management, promotions and calibration sessions
Support annual Analyst and Associate talent cycles, including headcount tracking, promotions, program transitions, and roll-offs.
Assist with general ad-hoc reporting and data maintenance in HR systems
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources in the Financial Services Industry
HR Operational experience strongly preferred (Workday experience is a plus)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
General Requirements

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and sound judgment (in terms of escalating issues vs. solving problems independently)
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Ability to be flexible in terms of hours to coordinate with team members across global time zones

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$105,000-$125,000
