An associate position on the Treasury Operations team within Treasury and FP&A in Corporate Finance. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team primarily responsible for assisting the group with cash management and payment responsibilities, interacting with the business areas on payment investigations, the production of bank balance reporting, and approving payment requests.
Major responsibilities:
- Reviewing payments that have been input by wire processors for accuracy and appropriateness, ultimately approving and releasing.
- Reacting to and investigating payment inquiries we receive from various business areas.
- Opening and following up on investigations with our banks for payment (wire and check) statuses and in some cases reimbursement in events of fraud.
- Prepare and distribute emailed daily/monthly reporting around our bank balances to stakeholders, including various levels of management and responding to question if they arise.
- Preparing monthly entries into SAP as it relates to our subsidiaries, NYL Canada and Cap Corp.
- Assisting the team with in-flight projects (i.e.TPAS, cash forecasting system replacement) and daily activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, preferred. Associate's degree and insurance experience considered.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a corporate Treasury environment
- Familiarity with Treasury Workstations preferred (Kyriba)
- Knowledge of insurance company line of business structure preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to Communicate with various levels of management.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
Salary range: $47,500-$80,000
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
