Martenson, Hasbrouck & Simon LLP (“MHS”) is a national law firm focusing on labor and employment defense and business litigation.  Based in Atlanta, with offices in Carlsbad, Chicago, Dallas, New York, and Sacramento, MHS team litigates labor and employment matters on behalf of all of its clients, including several national employers.

MHS is seeking an attorney to work in its New York City office. This attorney will become an integral part of our employment litigation defense team and help defend single plaintiff lawsuits as well as administrative matters, work directly with clients on strategy decisions, and have opportunities to represent them at hearings, mediations, depositions, and other proceedings.

Salary Range: __$180,000-$220,000__ depending on experience.

Qualifications
  • JD degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • 5-7+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred
  • Active New York Bar admission required, additional bar admissions a plus
  • Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in all aspects of federal and state court litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and hearing and trial experience
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
