Job Duties: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications and services that meet high engineering standards. Write clean, well-structured code and technical pull requests; participate in code reviews to ensure quality and reduce review cycles. Drive innovation across products and platforms with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and commercial impact. Lead and maintain third-party integrations, including drafting RFCs, designing solutions, collaborating with engineers, and managing post-deployment support. Deliver product shots and support integration patterns like SSO, OAuth, and webhooks for client onboarding commitments. Improve production monitoring and incident response by conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventive measures. Investigate API issues, support monthly software releases, and configure tools like Jupyter notebooks to analyze user engagement and adoption trends. Provide timely, constructive feedback through peer code reviews and uphold code quality across the team. Collaborate across teams to bridge internal and external-facing APIs, playing a key role in cross-functional initiatives. Support the full software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring high availability and scalability of APIs, and resolving issues promptly to maintain 24/7 service reliability. Adapt quickly to evolving client requirements, restructuring and redesigning platform components as needed to meet diverse business needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field, and 24 months of experience in job offered or closely related role. Position requires two years of experience in the following skills: Java programming and Java-based frameworks using Spring Core, Boot, MVC, ORM, JDBC; Microservices architecture and RESTful API development and integration; Building tools and dependency management using Maven; Configuration and serialization formats including JSON and YAML; Internet protocols and RPC frameworks including HTTP, gRPC, and TCP; Version control and collaboration tools using Git; Software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies; and CI and CD tools and practices including Azure DevOps. Position requires one year of experience in the following skills: Scripting languages including Shell, Perl, and Python; Database technologies including SQL, Cassandra and Spark; ORM and data access frameworks including JDBC; Authentication and authorization protocols including OAuth, JWT and SAML; and Monitoring and observability tools including Splunk, Grafana, BPEM, and Prometheus.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$145,000.00 - USD$162,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
